Jr. Purchasing Clerk


Responsibilities:

  • Order Reception & Inventory Management: Receive incoming orders and ensure proper organization of stock in the warehouse.
  • Documentation & CRM Management: Accurately document all transactions and update the CRM system regularly.
  • Material Verification: Cross-check received materials with packing slips to ensure accuracy.
  • Invoice Validation: Verify invoices against the received goods to confirm correctness.
  • Project File Management: Integrate payable invoices into project-specific SP files.
  • Technician Support: Prepare and organize materials and equipment for technician use.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management and update the system to reflect accurate stock levels.
  • Return Management (RMA): Handle product returns with manufacturers and suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Fleet Management: Manage truck fleet maintenance, including tire purchases and repair coordination.
  • Truck Inventory Control: Maintain inventory for each truck, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Warehouse Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management or logistics are a plus.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and inventory management software.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to 50 lbs).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively, especially regarding material discrepancies or returns.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with different teams, including technicians, suppliers, and warehouse staff.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines.
Type: Full Time
Work: Monday - Friday (In Office) Montreal Office
Salary: According to Experience.
