Jr. Purchasing Clerk
Responsibilities:
- Order Reception & Inventory Management: Receive incoming orders and ensure proper organization of stock in the warehouse.
- Documentation & CRM Management: Accurately document all transactions and update the CRM system regularly.
- Material Verification: Cross-check received materials with packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Invoice Validation: Verify invoices against the received goods to confirm correctness.
- Project File Management: Integrate payable invoices into project-specific SP files.
- Technician Support: Prepare and organize materials and equipment for technician use.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management and update the system to reflect accurate stock levels.
- Return Management (RMA): Handle product returns with manufacturers and suppliers in a timely manner.
- Fleet Management: Manage truck fleet maintenance, including tire purchases and repair coordination.
- Truck Inventory Control: Maintain inventory for each truck, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Warehouse Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management or logistics are a plus.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and inventory management software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively, especially regarding material discrepancies or returns.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with different teams, including technicians, suppliers, and warehouse staff.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines.
Type: Full Time
Work: Monday - Friday (In Office) Montreal Office
Salary: According to Experience.
